I am grateful for the opportunity to accompany individuals on their journey and hold a space of support, safety, and healing. I believe that therapy, like life, is about pushing yourself outside your comfort zone and embracing growth. I value the power of connection with others, the willingness to be vulnerable, and exploration into our thoughts and feelings to become aware of our authentic selves. I enjoy working with individuals who are motivated, open-minded, and willing to try new experiences to support them on this path.
Working with adolescents and adults, I take an integrative, person-centered approach. I use traditional practices of CBT, trauma-informed, and motivational interviewing, as well as expressive and experiential activities. I enjoy using art, music, and nature-based activities to foster self-expression and awareness.
As humans, we are story tellers. Having worked in a variety of settings I have developed an appreciation for each person's unique experience. When I walk into a room with a client, I'm grateful for the opportunity to share in your story and provide a space for you to be seen and heard for exactly who you are.

One of my favorite quotes is, “life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning to dance in the rain.” My focus in therapy is teaching individuals how to dance in the rain. I have had the pleasure of serving as an honorary dance instructor to children, adolescents, adults, and families in various community behavioral health settings. One of my passions is supporting clients with rediscovering their strengths, embracing their humanness, and finding their balance.
I have been in the social work field for over 10 years. As a trauma-informed therapist, I utilize the six guiding principles to a trauma-informed approach within my practice: safety, trustworthiness & transparency, collaboration & mutuality, peer support, empowerment (voice-choice), and cultural, historical, and gender issues.
Throughout the individual's therapy journey we will incorporate expressive art, mindfulness, journaling, and meaningful movement into treatment. Witnessing the growth and resilience of the individuals and families I have the honor of serving is what inspires me to remain in the field. I aim to provide clients with the necessary resources and skills to overcome barriers, become unstuck, and intentionally move forward.

“Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced” - James Baldwin. Facing our problems involves bravery, it takes guts. I don’t know if I would have accomplished so far what I have- if I didn’t do what scares me! I would love to form a relationship built on trust, over time, and stand by your side as we tackle the things that are stealing your joy!
As a Therapist and a nonprofit guru in another space, I have seen just about everything over the years! I enjoy working with youth, young & older adults the most and feel that I can be relatable, fun, and empowering with them. How people love brownies and cake, I enjoy social skills, making goals, and working on anxiety and depression.
I enjoy learning about the dreams, the goals, YOU, and I also love watching others grow and change. The ultimate goal of therapy is working myself out of a job- so let's get to the work and don't be scared!
