I’m honored to support individuals on their personal journeys by creating a space of safety, connection, and healing. I believe therapy—like life—is about stepping beyond our comfort zones and embracing growth. I value authentic connection, the courage to be vulnerable, and the exploration of our inner world as we move toward greater self-awareness and fulfillment. My practice is trauma-informed and incorporates expressive and experiential techniques. I enjoy using art, music, and nature to encourage creativity, self-expression, and personal insight.
I have a special interest in working with the perinatal mental health population, supporting individuals through the emotional complexities of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood. I also work with law enforcement, first responders, and veterans, offering a supportive space to process trauma, stress, and the unique challenges of these roles.
As human beings, we are natural storytellers. Through my experience in a variety of therapeutic settings, I’ve developed deep respect for each person’s unique story. When you step into the room with me, I hold space for you to be fully seen and heard—just as you are.

“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning to dance in the rain.” This quote deeply resonates with my approach to therapy: empowering individuals to navigate life's challenges with resilience and grace. In various community behavioral health settings, I've had the privilege of guiding children, adolescents, adults, and families through their unique journeys. My passion lies in helping clients rediscover their inherent strengths, embrace their humanness, and find their personal equilibrium.
With over a decade of experience in social work, I am a dedicated trauma-informed therapist. My practice is firmly rooted in the six guiding principles of a trauma-informed approach: safety, trustworthiness & transparency, collaboration & mutuality, peer support, empowerment (voice & choice), and attentiveness to cultural, historical, and gender issues.
Clients experience the benefits of expressive art, mindfulness, and journaling within our sessions. Witnessing their growth and resilience constantly inspires me. I empower them with skills to overcome barriers, achieve breakthroughs, and intentionally move toward well-being.

James Baldwin said, "Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced." As a therapist, I believe in bravely confronting what's stealing your joy. I enjoy working with individuals ready to explore their challenges, whether it's anxiety, difficult relationships, or self-doubt. My approach is to be a steadfast advocate and committed partner, standing by your side as we tackle these issues. You'll find a safe, trusting space where your unique story is heard. My goal is to empower you to rediscover your strength and make lasting, positive changes.
As a Therapist and a nonprofit guru in another space, I have seen just about everything over the years! I enjoy working with youth, young & older adults the most and feel that I can be relatable, fun, and empowering with them. How people love brownies and cake, I enjoy social skills, making goals, and working on anxiety and depression.
Youth have beautiful dreams. I wanted to be the President of the USA growing up! Still could happen, right? No, but really I enjoy learning about the dreams, the goals, YOU, and I also love watching others grow and change. The ultimate goal of therapy is working myself out of a job- so let's get to the work and don't be scared!
